The Sustainable Luxury Forum, the pioneering platform in Sustainable Luxury Management, is back for its 3rd edition, drawing change makers, Luxury brand executives and leaders to explore, debate and address social and environmental issues challenging the Luxury and prestige industries.
Nicolas Henchoz is the Director of EPFL+ECAL Lab. After graduating from EPFL as a material science engineer, Henchoz worked as a professional reporter and news anchor for national Swiss television, before opening ICAT, his own branding and art direction firm.
Henchoz founded EPFL+ECAL Lab in 2007 and has curated several groundbreaking projects and exhibitions, all of which explore design's potential in revealing new uses for emerging technologies, including Sunny Memories, Under Pressure, Hidden Carbon and Give Me More, which received the International Design Festival Berlin Award in 2010. Nicolas Henchoz was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres de la République française, by Frédéric Mitterand, French Minister of Culture in 2011.
Among other international academic activities, he's teaching Innovation by Design for an Executve Program at ENSCI, in Paris.
